Bimbi Books is not only a place for kids, but also for parents, in this case especially mothers. This Friday, we are happy to host here in our bookstore visual artist and poet Mimi Kunz, author of the book Mother Tongue. This collection of poems captures the symbiotic relationship between her and her daughter, from her birth to her first year of life. Through her delicate painting and poetry she shares her experience of being a young mother, deeply personal and yet so universal. Mimi Kunz has always been curious about the body as a language, through her art she observes its expressions and characteristics. In this book, the body of the mother and her child are discovered as their first language, their mother tongue. A unique, intimate event not to miss!
