“Le pays du zoo magique” Book presentation & book signings, on Wednesday 24th of April

A book fresh out of the press from Grassroots Publishing, a small independent publishing house based in Brussels and run by a team connects Italy, Belgium with the eastern countries, mainly North Macedonia & Balcans. This is their first book for young independent readers and they are very excited to finally see it real. “Le pays du zoo magique” is written by Macedonian Oliver Romevsky, consolidated author and script writer. The book is illustrated by Lucie Müllerova who will join us in Bimbi Books to discuss about the book and to do book signings. The book will be introduced by Milena Trajskovska and we will also read some extracts.

So what is the story about? We will have Mario is an ordinary suburban boy. Nola and Lola are two famous twin sisters whose explorer parents disappeared during a great adventure. Loki is Mario’s white schnauzer.
The four meet one night at the zoo, where the roar of the hyenas stirs the blood in their veins. Suddenly, a passage to the multiverse opens. Mario, Nola, Lola and Loki wake up in Magical Zoo Land, where animals reign and humans are absent.
Anyone who enters this dimension must leave it within twelve hours, otherwise they will transform into the animal they carry within them. This might seem easy if Magical Zoo Land wasn’t ruled by dark forces from our dimension…
